PCC Expands Capabilities with Forging Acquisition.


Precision Castparts Corp. (PCC PCC prothrombin complex concentrate. ), Portland, Oregon, has acquired the assets of The Drop Dies and Forgings Co., Cleveland, in a deal valued at $23 million.

Drop Dies and Forgings, founded in 1919, produces specialty forgings from difficult-to-forge metals. The business manufactures both ferrous ferrous (fĕr`əs), iron in the +2 valence state.
