The Public Company Accounting Oversight Board The Public Company Accounting Oversight Board (or PCAOB) (sometimes called "Peekaboo") is a private-sector, non-profit corporation created by the Sarbanes-Oxley Act, a 2002 United States federal law, to oversee the auditors of public companies. (PCAOB PCAOB Public Company Accounting Oversight Board ) announced it is accepting enforcement tips and complaints through a new form on its Web site and through a toll-free number.
The system allows individuals to provide the PCAOB with information concerning any matter relating to relating to relate prep → concernant

Information can be provided anonymously by email to tips@pcaobus.org, or by telephoning 800.741.3158.
The PCAOB is interested in receiving tips on the following:
* potential violations of the Act, PCAOB rules or other applicable law by a registered public accounting firm or its associated persons; and
* information that may be relevant to a PCAOB inspection of a registered public accounting firm.
