Advisors, LLC (Logical Link Control) See "LANs" under data link protocol. LLC - Logical Link Control (PBS Realty) has promoted both David Emden and Howard Hersch to the position of managing director. Emden was previously a director at PBS Realty. Since joining the firm in 2005, he has helped grow its tenant representation practice, focusing on hedge funds hedge fund, in finance, a highly speculative, largely unregulated investment device. Originating in the 1950s, the funds "hedge" by offsetting "short" positions (borrowing a security and then selling it at a higher price before repaying the lender) against "long" and private equity firms in Manhattan's Plaza District. In 2006, Emden was responsible for completing deals totaling approximately 200,000 s/f of commercial space. Prior to joining PBS Realty, Emden was an associate vice president at USI Real Estate Advisors. Hersch was also previously a director at PBS Realty, where he has worked for the past three years. He specializes in the Plaza District and is currently an exclusive agent for 150 East 52nd Street, a 300,000 s/f Class-A Plaza District building. Hersch works closely with PBS Realty principals Laura Pomerantz, John Brod, and Mort Schrader. |
