 PAYLINE SYSTEMS ANNOUNCES 108-PERCENT FOURTH-QUARTER INCREASE
 PORTLAND, Ore., Aug. 21 /PRNewswire/ -- Payline Systems Inc. (OTC), a Portland-based provider of telecommunications operator services, announced fourth-quarter gross revenues of $2,730,600. Fourth-quarter revenues reflect a 108-percent increase over the third-quarter gross revenues of $1,312,000. Gross revenues for the fourth quarter of 1991 were $908,171.
 According to Roger Pease, president of Payline, "The fourth-quarter revenue growth has been due to customer acceptance for Payline's expanded and enhanced network capabilities which the company initiated in 1991 through the development of relationships with American Sharecom, Northwest Telco and Rochester Telephone."
 Payline's nationwide operations now offer enhanced capabilities on the West Coast from Mexico to Canada and in major population centers of the Northeast United States. The company carries interstate traffic originating from approximately 30 states; intrastate traffic is carried in approximately 20 of the 30 states. Payline Systems' operator services product is known as OASIS.
 An eight-year-old company, Payline is one of the oldest in the telecommunications operator services industry. The company's common stock, PAYL, is traded over-the-counter on the "pink sheets" published by the National Quotation Bureau. Payline currently employs 65.
