PAUL E. DIXON JOINS HANDY & HARMAN AS VICE PRESIDENT AND GENERAL COUNSEL

 NEW YORK, Nov. 19 ~PRNewswire~ -- Handy & Harman (NYSE: HNH) announced today that Paul E. Dixon has joined the company as vice president and general counsel. Mr. Dixon will be based in the New York executive offices and will report to Richard N. Daniel, chairman and chief executive officer.
 Mr. Dixon, 47, most recently held the position of senior vice president, general counsel and secretary of The Warnaco Group, Inc. Prior to that, from 1981-1988, he served as vice president, general counsel and secretary for Reichhold Chemicals, Inc.
 Earlier, Mr. Dixon served in a similar capacity at Volvo of America Corporation. From 1972-1977 he was with the New York law firm of Rogers & Wells.
 Mr. Dixon is a member of the New York State Bar Association and the American Bar Association. He is a graduate of Villanova University and received his J.D. from St. John's University.
