According to Sue Scheimann, president and chief executive officer of the CaliforniaMart, ``Last year we hosted our first intimate apparel fashion show, the only one of its kind on the West Coast, and responding to the monumental interest displayed at the debut show, we naturally decided to make this an annual event.'' The news? Several guests, such as fashion mavens Linda Arroz and Jane Mannfolk, talked about how lingerie sales are up and how the G-string, once a stripper's staple, has influenced the fashion biz. Later, I chatted with Sergio Oxman, co-owner of the Italian lingerie firm Cosabella, and he agreed that bikini panties pant·ie or pant·y n. pl. pant·ies Short underpants for women or children.
