PARTY LINES : ALL FOR O.N.E., ONE FOR ALL AT LUNCHEON.

Byline: Barbara De Witt De Witt, uninc. town (1990 pop. 8,244), Onondaga co., central N.Y., a residential suburb of Syracuse.

Mother's Day came a day early to the Valley.

Thanks to the O.N.E. (Organization for the Needs of the Elderly), mothers and daughters had a chance to dress up and do a bit of bonding - and bidding - at the group's annual Intergenerational in·ter·gen·er·a·tion·al

held at the Warner Center Marriott Hotel in Woodland Hills attracted more than 300 guests, who placed bids on cool gifts such as a ``Seinfeld'' script signed by the cast and a fur coat from Bloomingdale's in Sherman Oaks. The department store hosted the afternoon fashion show.

It was also a chance to schmooze with politicos such as City Councilwoman Laura Chick and Assemblyman Robert Hertzberg Robert Myles Hertzberg was born on November 19, 1954 in Los Angeles, California, was an attorney and businessperson, and served in the California State Assembly from 1996-2002. , and celebs, including Marion Ross, the beloved mom from TV's ``Happy Days.'' Ross, who lives in Woodland Hills and is a big promoter of O.N.E.'s Joy Center in Woodland Hills - which is like a day-care center for the elderly - brought her family to share the limelight as she received the 1998 Legacy Award.

The Civic Leadership Award went to Hertzberg, who told me that O.N.E. is the best there is in terms of community service. He said he felt deeply honored to be recognized and that elder abuse Elder Abuse Definition

is a subject of great concern to him.

David Auger, vice president and general manager of Time Warner Communications, was also there to receive an award for community service. He expressed surprise, but he's been winning awards left and right for his work with youth in the Valley.

Not only did wife Nancy and son David attend, but they also paraded the catwalk as models, much to Auger's surprise.

According to O.N.E. executive Donna Deutchman, the event planned by Judy Zatkin and her committee raised $50,000 for its organization - which cares for seniors, children and caregivers - surpassing last year's event. The gala was sponsored by several local businesses, including the Daily News and Western Bagel.

Other events in the city included the Otis College of Art and Design The school's programs, accredited by WASC and National Association of Schools of Art and Design, include four-year degrees in the typical art school fare: illustration, fine arts, graphic design, architecture, landscape design, interior design, and fashion design as well as newer fields  fashion event that saluted Todd Oldham as Designer of the Year and Warner Bros BROS Brothers
