 Park, Pearblossom Park and George Lane George Lane (born 1940 ) is a British "mental calculator" and author. He is a three-times world champion and one of only three Grandmasters of Mental Calculation, as recognised by the Mind Sports Organisation.  Park were honored at a Los Angeles Los Angeles (lôs ăn`jələs, lŏs, ăn`jəlēz'), city (1990 pop. 3,485,398), seat of Los Angeles co., S Calif.; inc. 1850.  County Department of Parks and Recreation banquet.

Award recipients from Stephen Sorensen Park in Lake Los Angeles included Sister Agnus Numer and Gordon Skinner for assisting more than 500 families and working with the after-school program; Robin Nute for assisting at events and park planning; Olene Cleveland for donations of time and food; and Paul Bean for assisting with the after-school program and serving as the park's designated Santa.

Honored Jackie Robinson Park volunteers included Kirsten Colman for assisting teachers and for teaching dance; Deputy Johnie R. Other Jackie Robinson Park volunteers who were honored were Christine Frances for time devoted to Friends of Jackie Robinson Park; Moses Primus for nine years as a Friend of Jackie Robinson Park; Demetrius Williams for assistance with the fitness boot camp A Fitness Boot Camp is usually a circuit type training routine that mixes running and many other exercise using weights and body weight to lose body fat and gain endurance. Called "boot camp" because it usually is similar to military basic training. , the health fair and other events; Vanessa Webb for teaching dance and involvement in special events; Wanda and Earl Thomas for their assistance in youth and adult athletics; Massond Ratch for donating his time and his land for parking during Juneteenth; Sabrina Hartman for organizing the youth softball league; and Karen Barrick-Alvarez for donating time and funds for the youth softball league.

Honored for volunteer work at Pearblossom Park were Ashley Johnson and Bre'Sean Williams for assistance with events, crafts and other park programs; Ashton Ledet for coaching, teaching crafts and other assistance; and the Rev. Don Austin for Friday Night Movies.

George Lane Park volunteers honored at the banquet were Jack Thompson and ADT (Asynchronous Data Transfer) A transmission technique used in ISDN PBXs that dynamically allocates bandwidth. See also abstract data type.

 Security for donating time and funds; Sharon Thompson and the Quartz Hill Woman's Club for providing funds for special events; the George Lane Park Board for funding events and acting as the community watch for the park; and Darren Parker for donations of Christmas toys and funds as well as assisting at park events.

The awards banquet, hosted by the North County Community Services Agency of the Department of Parks and Recreation, was Feb. 11 at the Odyssey Restaurant in Granada Hills. It honored volunteers from the Antelope Valley, the Santa Clarita Valley The Santa Clarita Valley is the valley of the Santa Clara River in Southern California. It stretches through Los Angeles County and Ventura County. Its main population center is the city of Santa Clarita. The valley was part of the 48,612-acre (19,672.  and the Altadena/Sylmar communities.
