The three-mile course includes running in sand and on a dirt road. Health hike, Sundays at 9 a.m. at Saddleback Butte campground. Campfire talk will be on constellations and the mythology behind them. Early morning is best to see the annual meteor shower. Halloween family night, 5 o'clock Oct. 29 at Saddleback Butte campground.
