PARK CONCERT TO CELEBRATE U.S.

Warner Center Park's free Concerts in the Park series will feature an Independence Day weekend tribute to American composers.

The Woodland Hills park will be filled with the sound of music performed by the Pierce College In 2006 the Library won a national Excellence award. Academics
Pierce College offers associate's degrees, mainly in the arts and sciences. There are also certificate programs in early childhood education, social services, dental hygienist, and others.
 Community Band from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. today.

The band will perform a montage montage (mŏntäzh`, Fr. môNtäzh`), the art and technique of motion-picture editing in which contrasting shots or sequences are used to effect emotional or intellectual responses.  of popular music titled ``Strike Up the Band.''

The 90-member ensemble band, now preparing to record its second compact disc, is composed of students as well as local amateur and professional musicians.

A release of white doves will highlight the celebration.

At 4 p.m., in an interactive program, historical impressionist Peter Small will take the audience through a re-enactment of George Washington's crossing of the Delaware Washington's crossing of the Delaware, occurring on December 25, 1776 during the American Revolutionary War, was the first move in a surprise attack against the Hessian forces at Trenton, New Jersey in the Battle of Trenton. .
