PARASOFT SIGNS GLOBAL SOFTWARE AGREEMENT WITH IBM.
Parasoft's Jtest provides Java developers with the intelligence necessary to gauge success for software rollouts and upgrades. It is the first development tool of its type to automate all aspects of Java unit testing. Jtest supports static analysis, white-box (construction), black-box (specification) and regression testing, including added support for Enterprise JavaBean (EJBs), DbC, servlets and project metrics. Jtest also automates integration with WebSphere Internet infrastructure software, and WebSphere Studio development tools, which are based on the Eclipse open-source platform for easy, multi-vendor tool integration.
"At Parasoft we are committed to creating new and better ways of developing software. Rather than merely solving a tactical problem, we are focused on providing the development community and enterprise IT teams with a better way to work," said Adam Kolawa, president and chief executive officer at Parasoft. "IBM is the thought leader for business today and we look forward to working with the company to provide the support and technology it requires to better meet its customers' needs."
Working with IBM through an extensive pilot phase, Parasoft was able to demonstrate a significant increase in overall process efficiencies as well as its ability to automatically eliminate Java-centric coding errors.
