PARAMOUNT PROMOTES LISA DIMARZIO TO VICE PRESIDENT, PROMOTIONS

 HOLLYWOOD, Aug. 20 /PRNewswire/ -- Lisa DiMarzio has been promoted to vice president, promotions, for the Marketing Division of Paramount's Motion Picture Group, it was announced today by Tom Campanella, executive vice president, national advertising and promotion.
 DiMarzio is responsible for creating and coordinating all national and local promotional campaigns for Paramount's theatrical releases, and oversees the field promotions team. Additionally, she will work closely with Paramount Parks' marketing team. She reports directly to Campanella.
 "We're thrilled to be able to promote Lisa to this important position," Campanella said. "She has proven herself over the course of her years at the studio, and it's gratifying to be able to make this appointment from within the Paramount family."
 Previously, DiMarzio had been director, promotions, for one year, responsible for national promotions based in broadcast and print, as well as field promotions for theatrical features.
 Prior to that, DiMarzio was manager of field promotions in the same area since 1991. During her tenure as director and manager she oversaw feature promotions for the films "The Firm," "Coneheads," "The Addams Family," "Wayne's World," and "The Naked Gun 2 1/2: The Smell of Fear."
 Before that she was publicist, field publicity and promotion from April 1990 to October 1990 for the division. She joined Paramount in 1987.
 DiMarzio holds a bachelor of arts degree in photography and cinema from Ohio State University.
