PAR Technology subsidiary awarded additional contract by U.S Navy; Navy exercises option for expanded I/T services in Guam.

PAR Technology Corporation (NYSE:PTC) announced recently that the U. S. Navy Fleet and Industrial Supply Center (FISC) San Diego, as expected, has exercised a contract option with its government technical services subsidiary, Rome Research Corporation (RRC), to provide I/T services supporting the Navy's Fleet Center and Defense Message Center located in Dededo, Guam. As a result of this option exercise, RRC has increased its Guam workforce by over 40%.

"The I/T services to be performed in Guam are similar to the type of work RRC is performing under our recently announced Guantanamo Bay contract with the Navy, except on a much larger scale.
