RRC currently operates the military satellite communications facility at the same location.

The contract requires that the Teleport Terminal be operated on a 24 hours per day, 365 days per year basis. The Teleport is an important link in the Defense Information Systems Agency (DISA 1. (body) DISA - Defense Information Systems Agency.
