 PANHANDLE EASTERN PIPE LINE NAMES SICKMAN TO NEW POSITION
 HOUSTON, March 9 /PRNewswire/ -- John T. Sickman has been named to the newly created position of general manager of field zone supply and marketing for Panhandle Eastern Pipe Line Company (PEPL), the company announced today. He will report to James M. Kevra, vice president, planning.
 In this new position, Sickman will be responsible for connecting new gas supplies in PEPL's existing field area and coordinating marketing services for the field area.
 Sickman joined Texas Eastern Corporation in 1975 in the engineering department. In 1982, he transferred to the exploration and production division as a production engineer. From 1984 through 1989, Sickman was vice president and general manager of Texas Eastern's exploration and production operations in Norway. Upon returning to Houston, he worked for Trunkline LNG Company and was most recently director of marketing services for Texas Eastern.
 Sickman received a bachelor of science degree in civil engineering from the University of Missouri - Rolla in 1975. In 1983, he received an master's degree in business administration from the University of Houston's Executive Program.
 Panhandle Eastern Pipe Line Company, Trunkline LNG Company, and Texas Eastern Corporation are subsidiaries of Panhandle Eastern Corporation (NYSE: PEL), which operates one of the nation's largest interstate natural gas pipeline systems, providing natural gas to the Midwest and Northeast markets.
