Detectives said undisclosed evidence found in the car linked Walker to the disappearance. He was arrested Sept. 12 on suspicion of murder.

Prosecutors charged him with murder for financial gain, which makes him eligible for life in prison without possibility of parole or for the death penalty if he is convicted.

Walker was already facing trial on suspicion of spousal and child abuse when he was arrested.

A second autopsy will likely be conducted to try to determine the exact cause of Lazarevic's death, officials said.
