The Watts Prophets bring jazz-infused poetry and positive messages of hope and faith with a unique blend of music and relevant spoken word to the Playhouse at 2 p.m. on Sunday. Veterans of the Watts Writer's Workshop, they have been performing since 1967, and their style is considered the historical roots of rap. Tickets are $16 for adults and $12 for seniors, students, military and youths 12 and younger.
