PAGING NETWORK REPORTS LITIGATION

 DALLAS, March 18 /PRNewswire/ -- Paging Network, Inc. (NASDAQ: PAGE) today reported that suit has been filed in United States District Court for the Central District of California against it and certain subsidiaries. The action was brought by CommCenter Corp., Citipage, Pacific Coast Paging, Communications Center of Florida, Inc. and W.D.S. Communications, Inc., who identify themselves as distributors engaged in the paging business. The suit was brought on behalf of the named plaintiffs and a purported class of other similarly situated.
 The Complaint principally alleges violations of the Robinson-Patman Act, the Sherman Act and the Clayton Act, the California Business and Professions Code and certain common law claims arising out of Paging Network's pricing policies for its pagers and services. The plaintiffs assert damages in excess of $50 million and seek injunctive relief, treble damages, exemplary and punitive damages and fees and costs of litigation.
 Paging Network denies all allegations of any wrongdoings and will vigorously defend the suit.
