PAF is maintaining high operational readiness to undertake all types of missions-Rao.

MIANWALI, September 30, 2009 (Balochistan Times): Air Chief Marshal Rao Qamar Suleman, Chief of the Air Staff, Pakistan Air Force visited PAF Base, Mianwali on Wednesday and expressed his utmost satisfaction on high operational preparedness of the Base . On his arrival at the Base, he was presented with Guard of Honour by smartly turned out contingent of Pakistan Air Force. He also reviewed the Parade presented by the Base Airmen. While addressing a joint session of Airmen, the Air Chief said, PAF is maintaining high operational readiness to undertake all types of missions against internal and external threats to ensure safety and security of the country. While talking to the Airmen, Air Chief Marshal Rao Qamar Suleman said, Being the cutting edge of PAF, you must achieve excellence in your operational preparedness since there is a huge responsibility on your shoulders as you are the one who will be delivering the first punch. Whenever there has been a crisis in the past, PAF has always come up to the nations expectations. He also appreciated the high morale of Base Airmen. Earlier on his arrival at the Base, the Air Chief was received by Air Vice Marshal Sohail Gul Khan, Air Officer Commanding, Northern Air Command, PAF and Air Commodore Saeed Muhammad Khan, Base Commander PAF Base, Mianwali.
