Ozone-resistant coating.

HPC-5C (clear) and HPC-5B (black) high-performance elastomer elastomer (ĭlăs`təmər), substance having to some extent the elastic properties of natural rubber. The term is sometimes used technically to distinguish synthetic rubbers and rubberlike plastics from natural rubber.  coatings were developed to improved upon the oil and ozone resistance of various elastomer materials used in automotive, industrial, marine, off-highway/agriculture, aerospace/aircraft and oil drilling type applications. Although the coatings are said to enable the use of less expensive elastomers, they are said to yield similar fluid and ozone resistance as compared to their more expensive elastomeric counterparts.
