Oxygen Media, the cable and online network for women, has selected three winners for its second annual "Build Your Own Business" program, which was created to encourage and support female small business entrepreneurs, it was announced today by Tricia Melton mel·ton

The women will be featured in a special episode of Oxygen's finance show "Laura Pedersen's Your Money & Your Life," on December 14, 2001 at 7 p.m. ET/PT. They will also appear live on "Pure Oxygen," the network's daily news and information program on January 15, 2002 at noon ET/PT, and will be profiled on oxygen.com.

The three winners are:

It is the third-largest publicly traded cable operator in the U.S. )

Ms. Horoshko won for "Art Juice Native Willow Drawing Charcoal," a high quality but rare drawing material. In 1995, Horoshko, began "Drawing Together," a mentoring program for local Navajo students. A need for art supplies and a lack of money prompted her to produce the prohibitively expensive product from indigenous materials. The "Art Juice Native Willow Drawing Charcoal" serves as the cornerstone for the Art Juice Studio, a local center for young artists.
