"After last year's pride parade in Jerusalem and in response to WorldPride, posters and fliers against me have been distributed, blaming me for earthquakes, AIDS, poverty, and all of the world's ills," he told The Advocate. "I am running a daily struggle for a saner, more tolerant Jerusalem."

Nathaniel reopened Shushan on April 28.
