South Tyneside Gets Active Free Senior Sports Festival is being held at Temple Park Centre, on Monday October, 19, with sporting activities from 10.30am to 4pm.
On offer will be: archery, carpet bowls, salsacise, self-defence, aqua aerobics and tai chi, and free swimming and gym inductions.
Coun Tracey Dixon, lead member for culture and wellbeing said: "This Senior Sports Festival provides an ideal opportunity for our older residents to take advantage of free sessions.
Staff will be on hand to show all fitness opportunities available in the borough."
