The main role of the Advisory board is not the usual governance task, but a far more dynamic one of business development in a very strategic framework. Therefore the Board's main activity is introducing OPI to the marketplace including potential users, sourcing advisors, analysts and the media. The Advisory Board has already begun its work in the European marketplace, and is hosting several educational events for companies looking to realize the benefits and efficiencies offered through outsourcing.

Richard Greenhalgh, Chairman of the OPI Advisory Board, noted, "As we meet with companies and they learn about the potential savings and quality improvements possible with outsourcing, and, importantly, the maturity of finance and accounting outsourcing, it is no longer 'whether to outsource' but 'when and with whom to partner.' Cost savings of 35-50% coupled with best practice financial governance and information cannot be ignored."

Bruce Thew, European President of Outsource Partners International and a member of the European Advisory Board notes, "Having come from HR outsourcing provider Ceridian Group, I am keenly aware of the marketplace for outsourcing. Finance and accounting is poised for mass adoption, as providers, such as OPI, have fine tuned their service offerings, addressing all key issues to the point that the business model is proven, with 100% of OPI clients willing to be advocates for the efficiencies and improvements delivered."
