The Music Publishers' Association The Music Publishers' Association of the United States (MPA) is the arm of the music industry responsible for the production and distribution of sheet music, and is the oldest music trade organization in the United States, founded in 1895.  chief says the operators of guitar tablature tablature (tăb`ləchr), in music, a generic system of musical notation indicating actions that the player must take, rather than "representing" the music itself that will result  sites should go to jail. The owners of the mechanical rights to songs plan to follow the recording industry's path of suing and harassing music lovers in the hope of getting some money in return.
