Outkast Boards the Soul Train
Who better to lead a funky soul train than Outkast? Speakerboxxx/ The Love Below won two awards including R&B;/Soul or Rap album of the Year, leading the winners at the Soul Train Music Awards on Saturday. The Alanta duo also scored the Michael Jackson Award for best R&B;/Soul or Rap Music Video for ?Hey Ya!? Apparently, Soul Train has no problem honoring accused child molesters. Mr. Chocolate Factory himself snatched an award for the best male R&B;/Soul Album. R. Kelly had permission to travel to the awards in LA but was ordered to avoid contact with children and submit to a daily check-in.
