Outback introduces E-Dif correction. (Product Review).

The patented product works by using error trends from the GPS (1) (General Print Server) An IBM mainframe feature that lets TN3270 clients access LPD/LPR printers via the SNA/VTAM network. See TN3270 and VTAM.

 satellites to project correction values into the future. It is very stable and accurate within short time frames, making it viable for progressive, pass-to-pass guidance. As long as each pass is made within a few minutes of the last, accuracy is reported by the manufacturer to be excellent.

Since the 24-hour repeatability is not as accurate as WAAS, an included feature allows the operator to correct today's start point with yesterday's end point so a job can be continued seamlessly.
