Reading your January 30 article "Spanish Spanish, river, c.150 mi (240 km) long, issuing from Spanish Lake, S Ont., Canada, NW of Sudbury, and flowing generally S through Biskotasi and Agnew lakes to Lake Huron opposite Manitoulin island. There are several hydroelectric stations on the river.  Lessons" reminded me of how good I felt when Mr. Zapatero and his party managed to pass gay marriage in Spain, despite the Catholic Church's active attempts to put a stop to the proposal. But what has recently taken place in South Africa--the definition of marriage changed to include people of the same sex and thus gay marriage being legalized is also a story that needs telling.
