(OMI - TSE,VSE) reports today more promising results from the fire assay analysis of pan concentrate samples taken from the Arrastro Hills, which is located 1 kilometre from the core area at the wholly owned Juruena property in Mato Grosso, Brazil. The panned concentrate samples continue to show a strong presence of gold mineralization Mineralization The process by which the body uses minerals to build bone structure. The stream sediment sampling program which started in the Arrastro Hills approximately five weeks ago, has produced encouraging results from samples collected from different tributaries of two separate drainage basins that border a north-east trending ridge. The following samples were taken from the south-east side of the Arrastro Hills in a zone of anomalous north-east trending structures. Samples JAHC JAHC Journal of the American Association for History and Computing 25, 26, 27 and 28, contained gold values of 24.35 grams per tonne (g/t), 36.14g/t, 99.81g/t and 213.90 g/t respectively, all came from the same drainage basin located 1.3 km north of the exploration camp. This area is believed to be underlain un·der·lain v. Past participle of underlie. by rhyolitic tuffs that are locally silicified si·lic·i·fy v. si·lic·i·fied, si·lic·i·fy·ing, si·lic·i·fies v.tr. Sample JAHC 218 contained a gold value of 99.33 g/t and was taken from a small drainage basin located north of the camp and from a different tributary south-west of the above mentioned samples. While panned concentrate sampling is an effective prospecting guide, the reported grades are not meant to be indicative of the true gold content of the in-situ stream sediments. "All 10 samples for which results were obtained this time were above 1 g/t. Of 65 samples taken to date, 17 samples have values over 10 g/t and a further 26 samples recorded values between 1 g/t and 10 g/t. These results are considered to be significant in this program and confirm the presence of drill targets in this large volcanic area" said Geoffrey Carter, President of Ourominas. Interpretation of Landsat imagery and aerial photographs indicate that this part of the Arrastro Hills is a site of a major structural intersection. "This is highly significant since these structures could have acted as the plumbing system along which the gold bearing solutions migrated into receptive structural settings" said Ray Irwin, Ourominas Vice President of Exploration.
