TO the people, or person, who has taken the Armed Forces Day flag from Egglescliffe we simply ask, why? A symbol of respect, pride and celebration, it's utterly unbelievable that it should be stolen.

Our armed forces are people prepared to lay down their lives for the safety of others.

They are incredible individuals, committed to the quest for Verb 1. quest for - go in search of or hunt for; "pursue a hobby"
quest after, go after, pursue

look for, search, seek - try to locate or discover, or try to establish the existence of; "The police are searching for clues"; "They are searching for the
 peace; every one is a hero.

Not only is it staggering that someone should take this flag, but to what end? Why would they want it and what would they do with it? Whoever is responsible is clearly a person with no respect for others. Someone in our local community must know is responsible. So do they right thing and speak out.

OUR apprenticeship apprenticeship, system of learning a craft or trade from one who is engaged in it and of paying for the instruction by a given number of years of work. The practice was known in ancient Babylon, Egypt, Greece, and Rome, as well as in modern Europe and to some extent  campaign is heading into the final stages. And what an incredible impact it has had on the region so far.

We've almost hit the 2,000 mark for creating new apprenticeship vacancies.

A terrific way to nurture NURTURE. The act of taking care of children and educating them: the right to the nurture of children generally belongs to the father till the child shall arrive at the age of fourteen years, and not longer. Till then, he is guardian by nurture. Co. Litt. 38 b.  new talent and bolster local business, let's keep up the good work right until finish line.

It would be fantastic to break through the 2,000 barrier and make our 2012 campaign a real success story for the whole of the North-east.
