Osborn & Barr Communications, St. Louis, hires Lisa Cassady as public relations account executive for Monsanto's Roundup Ready and YieldGard traits brands and Roundup agricultural herbicides. She formerly worked with Zimmerman Laurent and Richardson, Des Moines, Iowa, as a public relations account coordinator. Lauren Schaefer-Christ is hired as public relations account executive on the Monsanto branded seed business. She previously worked as a communications and marketing assistant at Memorial Hospital in Belleville, Ill. Staci Falk is hired as senior copywriter. She is an award-winning writer and creative lead with agency experience with Drone & Mueller and Associates and Momentum. Amanda Heth joins as account coordinator on the contact relations team to assist agricultural association and producer-funded clients. She is a recent graduate of The Ohio State University College of Food, Agriculture and Environmental Sciences. Susan Conroy joins as public relations account executive. She will be working on recreation and agricultural clients, including John Deere Utility Vehicles and Intervet animal health. In addition, the agency promotes Marisa Snyder and Michelle Hummel. Snyder is promoted to senior account executive on the contact relations team. She is a soybean promotion specialist, leading USB's paid media efforts and working closely with the check-off's international marketing program and the QUALISOY Board. Hummel has been promoted to senior account executive on the account services team in St. Louis. She manages the expanding Propane Education & Research Council account and assists with other business-to-business clients.
