The fourth section presents unique applications for orthopedic physical therapy theory and practice. This section includes chapters describing the assessment of outcomes in orthopedic clinical practice, orthopedic problems that physical therapists may encounter in patients with neurologic conditions, and the evaluation and treatment of soft tissue restrictions and neural tissue pain disorders. This book is a significant contribution to orthopedic physical therapy. It is extremely informative and well written, and the material is presented in a way that facilitates clinical decision making. Case studies, tables, and figures are routinely presented throughout the book, which help readers understand and apply the material. This book is highly recommended for all physical therapist students and physical therapists who manage patients with orthopedic dysfunction.
