OrthoLogic Awarded Grant to Research Use of Ultrasound on Fracture Healing; National Institutes of Health Awards OrthoLogic a $100,000 Grant.


PHOENIX--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Oct. 5, 1995--OrthoLogic (Nasdaq/NMS: OLGC OLGC Ontario Lottery and Gaming Corporation ) today announced that it has been awarded another grant by the National Institutes of Health for $100,000 to research the use of non-thermal ultrasound technology to enhance the healing of complicated fractures. The long-term goal of this research is to develop a noninvasive treatment that will significantly reduce the necessity of secondary treatment intervention in the management of complicated fractures.
