Orissa revisited.

[ILLUSTRATION OMITTED]

MONDA KIA, India -- Mass is celebrated under a tent in Orissa, India where an estimated 2,000 Christians, mostly Roman Catholic, remain stranded in army-protected refugee camps. They were driven from their homes by Hindu extremists last August. More than 100 people were killed in the attacks, including approximately 20 priests, and 200 churches were burned. Almost a year later, many still live in fear of Hindu militants, who have told them they cannot return to their villages unless they convert to Hinduism.
