Organosilanes. (Materials).

Apart from commonly used tetra- and disulfides, the company's product range for the rubber industry has been broadened by several silanes featuring the prefix The beginning or to add to the beginning. To prefix a header onto a packet means to place the header characters in front of the packet. "To prefix" at the beginning is the opposite of "to append" characters at the end. See prepend.

VP in their names. These products are said to cover a wide range of applications in the rubber industry. The highly reactive mercaptosilane VP Si 163 is used for special sulfur-cured industrial rubber goods, while the vinyl silane silane
 or silicon hydride

Any of a series of inorganic compounds of silicon and hydrogen with covalent bonds and the general chemical formula SinH(2n + 2).
VP Si 225 is best suited for peroxide-cured products. The aminosilane VP Si 251 can be used to couple specialty polymers and metal, or to adhere textiles, while the chlorosilane Si 230 is designed to couple chloroprene chloroprene (klōr`əprēn') or 2-chloro-1,3-butadiene, colorless liquid organic compound used in the synthesis of neoprene and certain other rubbers.  rubber. The company offers three alkylsilanes, VP Si 203, VP Si 208 and VP Si 216, as special silica silica or silicon dioxide, chemical compound, SiO2. It is insoluble in water, slightly soluble in alkalies, and soluble in dilute hydrofluoric acid. Pure silica is colorless to white.  processing aids for reducing the silica network. The adhesion promoter Cofill 11 rounds out the range of products for rubber applications. This product, based on a mixture of resorcinol resorcinol /re·sor·ci·nol/ (re-zor´si-nol) a bactericidal, fungicidal, keratolytic, exfoliative, and antipruritic agent, used especially as a topical keratolytic in the treatment of acne and other dermatoses.  and high dispersible silica, makes it possible to bond unvulcanized rubber with treated or untreated textiles, as well as brass or zinc plated steel cord.
