Orchestream Launches Resolve 5.0; Enhanced Service and Network Performance Management Capability Offers Service Providers Improved Decision Support.

SUPERCOMM, Booth 1168--Orchestream(TM) Holdings plc (LSE: OCH; NASDAQ: OCHS), a leading provider of IP service activation and performance management software to global telecommunications network operators, today announced the launch of Orchestream Resolve 5.0, its best-in-class service and network performance management software for service providers.

Orchestream Resolve 5.0, features Active Threshold Monitoring (ACTM), which allows user defined actions to be automatically taken when network or service performance threshold values are crossed. The ACTM feature enables Resolve customers to identify and initiate problem resolution processes within seconds of threshold crossings being detected, giving the Service Provider more time to react to and address performance issues before they become critical to the Service Provider's business, and more importantly to their customer's business.

The ACTM feature is coupled with enhancements to the Resolve OSS Integration Module, which enable electronic notifications to be sent to other OSS applications (e.g. service activation, fault management, billing, etc.) when potential performance issues and/or actual SLA violations are detected.

Resolve 5.0 also supports a new distributed architecture, which allows Service Providers to tie a series of distributed, and otherwise separate Resolve Servers together for global reporting purposes. This capability allows users, regardless of location, to have a global performance reporting view of all objects in their network. This is particularly useful in situations where network operations are in geographically separate locations and where customer network sizes exceed the capacity of the "single workstation throughput" of the Resolve server (currently 250,000 managed objects - which is the highest throughput in the market).
