Orative Receives $6 Million in First Venture Funding; To Pursue Enterprise Mobile Telephony.

, Calif., June 26 /PRNewswire/ -- Orative Corporation announced today that it has raised six million dollars in its first round of venture capital financing To start an own company or to bring a new product to the market, the venture may need to attract financial funding. There are several categories of financing possibilities. If it is a small venture, then perhaps the venture can rely on family funding, loans from friends . Orative will use the proceeds of the investment to advance product development and grow the team. Mayfield and Diamondhead Ventures led the round.

Paul Fulton and the other founders organized Orative in late 2002, and incubated the company in Mayfield's offices where Mr. Fulton most recently served as Executive-in-Residence. Mr. Fulton brings over 19 years of leadership experience from the communications and wireless industries to Orative. Prior to Mayfield, Mr. Fulton served as vice president and general manager of 3Com's Wireless Connectivity Division responsible for pioneering both Wi-Fi and Bluetooth technologies.
