Oracle's WebServer available on the industry's most secure Internet platform - CYBERSHIELD.

WESTBORO, Mass.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Oct. 21, 1996--Data General Corporation today announced that Oracle's WebServer 2.0 application platform is now available on CYBERSHIELD, a solution from Data General and BDM International that delivers the industry's highest level of protection for internet computing.

CYBERSHIELD enables enterprises to conduct business over the internet and internally via intranets on Data General's AViiON servers with confidence that security issues have been resolved. The CYBERSHIELD solution combines Data General's DG/UX B2 Security operating system and CYBERSHIELD Secure Internet Software (CSIS) from BDM International.
