Spectrodyne offers a new brochure on its DFP 2000 Advanced Disappearing Filament Pyrometer. The product gives accurate and convenient temperature measurements. Ideal for applications requiring stringent temperature measurements, the pyrometer features unique user-controlled precision targeting, high one-degree resolution and a short 0.65-micron wavelength for higher accuracy. Encased in a rugged cast aluminum housing, the product provides industrial durability in a lightweight package the size of a pair of binoculars. It operates on the disappearing filament principle, blending the brightness of a hot target to that of a calibrated lamp filament for measurement.
