The new coating combinations deliver the optimum performance in thin film anti-reflection coated filter glass for contrast and screen viewability to fit worldwide customer requirements.

The new U-Coat product series features high transmission filter glass with 65% transmission for superior color monitor See monitor.  viewing. Lower transmission filter glass is also available with 30% and 45% transmissions.

According to Bill Grenawalt, product manager: "If you had to choose only one coated glass for an application, the 45% transmission filter glass provides the best overall performance to fit all applications and industry guidelines."

OCLI has also introduced its V-Coat filter glass which provides optimum performance to fit the retail and mass distribution channels serving the home computer user.

OCLI is the world's largest independent manufacturer of thin film coated components. OCLI's products are found in many applications, including computer monitors, photocopiers, medical/analytical equipment and instruments, projection televisions, lighting systems, communications satellites and aerospace and defense systems.

Flex Products Inc., a 60% owned subsidiary of OCLI, designs and manufactures thin film coatings on flexible substrates using high vacuum roll-to-roll processes.
