Open Energy's SolarSave[R] Roofing Tiles are being installed as a standard feature on all residences at Gables Crossing, a housing development located in the Del Sur community of Black Mountain Ranch in San Diego San Diego (săn dēā`gō), city (1990 pop. 1,110,549), seat of San Diego co., S Calif., on San Diego Bay; inc. 1850. San Diego includes the unincorporated communities of La Jolla and Spring Valley. Coronado is across the bay. . Each home is designed to have a 1 kW system that can be easily expanded to allow each home to be "energy-customized" to meet the needs of its residents.
