Online program tracks C&D recycling.

A new online program will soon be available to help contractors in Wisconsin track recycling efforts at their construction, demolition and remodeling projects.

A grant from the Environmental Protection Agency and the Wisconsin Department of Natural Resources has helped fund the program, which WasteCap Wisconsin and the Solid and Hazardous Waste Education Center (SHWEC) are developing.

"This online program will make it easier for contractors to see the results of their recycling efforts," says Jenna Kunde of WasteCap Wisconsin. "Plus, it will allow us to make conclusions and suggestions for how the state can move forward and achieve better results in construction waste management," she adds.

More information on the online tracking project is available from WasteCap Wisconsin's Web site at www.wastecapwi.org/join.
