The Assi Doman Frovi cartonboard mill in Sweden needed new lift trucks to handle its rolls of paper--and not just any lift trucks would do. Frovi put together an internal truck group comprising drivers, supervisors and safety representatives, to pull together the mill's customized list of requirements and choose a supplier: Kalmar Industries Sverige AB, Ljungby, Sweden. The first five well-equipped diesel-powered paper lift trucks have now been delivered to Frovi, with two electrically powered vehicles on the way. The highly specialized lift trucks include integrated functions for precise, efficient and careful handling of rolls of paper and cardboard.
