Online Investment Firm Scottrade Expands into Second Tucson Branch Office.

New Branch Office Will Provide Service, Support for Online Investors

ST. LOUIS -- Scottrade, a leading branch-supported online investment firm, is opening a new branch office in Tucson, Ariz. The new branch office, located at 5460 E. Broadway Blvd. in The Plaza at Williams Center, opens on Monday, May 21.

The branch office will be Scottrade's second area location and 298th office nationwide. Scottrade's other Tucson branch office is located in the northwestern part of Tucson, at the Oracle Crossings Shopping Center.

Dane Dikeman, who has been a branch manager with Scottrade since 1996, will manage the new Tucson branch office.

"Scottrade's new branch office will be more convenient for many of our customers," Dikeman said. "Although Scottrade has another branch office 10 miles away, it can be a much longer drive in traffic, so we are excited about being able to provide our customers a more centralized location. Our new branch office will also give Scottrade a presence in the heart of Tucson's financial center."

Scottrade is an online investment firm that provides individual investors the tools and research to make their own investment decisions. Scottrade does not offer investment advice, but brokers are available at branch offices to answer account-related questions, provide customer service and provide tutorials on Scottrade's trading services.

"We feel it is important to have branch offices where our customers work and live," said Rodger Riney, Scottrade president and CEO. "While most of our customers trade online, they value the option of having a local branch office where they can get personal customer service."

Scottrade's Tucson branch office will be open from 6 a.m. to 5 p.m. and can be reached at 520-750-1980.
