One of the Largest Solution Providers in Japan Signs Master Distributor Agreement With LiteScape to Provide Unified Communication Applications.


High Demand in Japan for LiteScape Technologies Converged Communication Applications to Be Fulfilled by Sumisho Computer Systems Corporation, an Affiliate of Sumitomo Corporation Sumitomo Corporation (住友商事, Sumitomo Shōji) TYO: 8053 is a highly built worldwide trading company (Sogo shosha), and is a diversified corporation based in Tokyo, Japan. REDWOOD SHORES, Calif. & TOKYO -- LiteScape Technologies, Inc. (www.litescape.com) and Sumitomo Corporation affiliate Sumisho Computer Systems Corporation (SCS) (http://www.scs.co.jp/english/index.html) today jointly announced that LiteScape has received a major distribution contract from SCS with a commitment to sell LiteScape applications to the VoIP market. This agreement appoints SCS, one of the largest systems integrators in Japan, as the Authorized Master Distributor of LiteScape products for the Japanese market. SCS, an affiliate of Sumitomo Corporation, will be responsible for the sales, marketing and deployment of LiteScape's enterprise software which unifies business processes with IP telephony The two-way transmission of voice over a packet-switched IP network, which is part of the TCP/IP protocol suite.
