 Khazan killed and four other got injured seriously over land dispute here at Killi ozai Ghobani area of Zhob. The victim and the injured were shifted to Civil hospital Zhob in critical condition. Later the body of deceased was handed over to heirs for burial after medico-legal proceedings. Police have registered a case into the incident but no arrest is made till filling this report. ) Balochistan Dr. Muhammad Ayub Kakar told that the district declared the polio high risk include Quetta, Pishin, Killa Abdullah, Jafferabad and Naseerabad. Out of the 48 polio cases reported till 2009 since 2005, Killa Abdullah district was on the top with the maximum 15 polio virus carrier children. Then comes Quetta district where in all 11 cases were reported during the five years period while one fresh case was turned up in January 2010. In Jafferabad, five cases of the disease were reported during the five-year time. Dr. Ayub Kakar maintained that altogether 11 cases were reported only during the last year. Of them, five cases were reported in Killa Abdullah, two each in Quetta and Shirani as well as one each in Pishin and Jafferabad. About the surveillance of the polio cases, he informed that a compact programme has been initiated to closely watch the occurrence of the polio. In view of the alarming situation of the polio cases, special measures are being adopted for their prevention in the province.
