Australia parachutist Felix Baumgartner Felix Baumgartner (born 1969 in Austria) is a skydiver and a BASE jumper. , Brazil. He's a daredevil in the usually illegal sport of BASE jumping--in which people leap off of buildings, antennae, spans (like bridges), and earth (like cliffs). He has also jumped off the world tallest buildings, the 1,483-foot Petronas Towers Petronas Towers, twin skyscrapers in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, that are the world's tallest twin towers. Standing 1,483 ft (452 m) high, they were designed by the Argentinean-American architect Cesar Pelli.  in Malaysia.
