OnTrak Unveils State-Of-The-Art Multimedia Training Facility.

SAN JOSE, Calif.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Nov. 14, 1997--OnTrak Systems, Inc., a leading provider of semiconductor capital equipment for chemical mechanical planarization (CMP), today announced the opening of its newly renovated training facility which features full multimedia capabilities.

The multimedia training facility features state-of-the-art instructional tools including, a projection system for video and computer displays, closed circuit cameras for viewing areas inside the systems and an online testing system. Computer based training will provide many benefits to OnTrak's students, such as the paperless, online system for testing and evaluation. This allows both the student and instructor to receive immediate feedback of the student's understanding of a topic before continuing to the next level of training. The entire system is controlled via touch-screen computer by an OnTrak instructor.
