About OnTheMapUS

OnTheMapUS is a completely new concept on the Internet. It gives people a forum to share information about themselves, their lives and the part of the United States in which they live, allowing only one person per town (as defined by US Zip Code) to put their information on the website. These "Claim Owners" position themselves to benefit from an exclusive Right to a scarce commodity. "Claims" can be purchased and sold, and Claim Owners can take advantage of their Claims by advertising on their Page, setting their own rates for advertising, or opting to let OnTheMapUS arrange for advertising and splitting the proceeds evenly. Claim Owners will also have the right to vote on issues that impact future actions taken in the virtual community, including which charities will benefit from the OnTheMapUS Charitable Fund, for which 10% of all money generated by the website is earmarked.
