On the road with Rockwell: are you ready to get the picture?

Meet Norman Rockwell, one of America's best-loved artists.

His magazine covers for the Saturday Evening Post showed American life with all its joys, tears, and laughs.

A special exhibit at the Gaylord Opryland Resort in Nashville, Tennessee, features 3-D versions of Rockwell's famous scenes, like the self-portrait at right, or the doctor and doll, below.

Kids can act out some of the scenes, dress up in a special section devoted to make-believe, and even create their own Saturday Evening Post cover.

They'll learn a lot about Norman Rockwell, a true American classic. And they'll discover a lot about America at the same time.
